Jules - International Wedding Photographer
I am an English photographer living and working in Italy and internationally. I speak English and Italian and have a relaxed style which consists mostly of photo-journalism and a handful of more classical portraits to keep everyone happy!
I believe that in order to achieve the best results the photographer must give some direction to the couple but also leave them to interact with each other naturally. I will not be constantly in your face; in fact I generally work from a distance as this allows people to act normally and be themselves which allows me to capture their character and personality.
I have a very relaxed approach which allows people to be comfortable with my presence, however when it is needed I know how to take control and organise people; for instance the group shots are a simple and painless procedure that should take about 15 minutes.
I shoot digital with professional equipment and have backups. I give you the original high resolution files and permission to use them as you please. I prefer digital as it gives me more control over the final output. I shoot in colour as I can decide later if a particular image is more suited to black and white or sepia tones. Retouching is an important part of any professional photographers studio, none more so than in wedding photography. I will also work on some of your images and improve them in countless ways the end result being that fashion magazine quality image.
I prefer to shoot an entire wedding and not just a part of a wedding like only the ceremony. My job is to tell the story of your wedding day, from the bridal preparations, to the cutting of the cake, first dance, and everything in between including the tears, passion and joy. I do not give discounts for shorter or smaller jobs as I treat every event with the same level of commitment.
Once I accept an assignment I will work with you and offer advice so that we can help each other to achieve the best results on the wedding day itself.
Every photo on my website was taken by me. I am the only main photographer on offer, should the job require it, or should it be requested a second photographer is available. I charge a flat fee per assignment that covers the photography of your wedding. I also offer prints and albums in separate add-on packages.
I offer videographic services; the video is not done by me but by another company with whom I collaborate as I like their work.
